Description
Exocet Cooker Additive is a specialised fuel treatment designed to enhance the combustion quality of domestic kerosene in range-style cookers and boilers, as well as in systems that use vaporising burners.
Features
Exocet Cooker Additive offers several key benefits, including lowering the Char Value, reducing the build-up of carbon deposits and soot, and preventing the formation of deposits in fuel storage tanks. It also minimises the risk of fuel tank corrosion, extends the fuel’s shelf life, and helps reduce service-related issues.
Application
Although domestic kerosene (BS2869:C2) has an upper Char Value limit of 20mg/kg, field experience since 2008 shows that fuel supplied often has Char Values between 16-30mg/kg. This issue persists and significantly impacts the performance of range cookers, such as AGAs, Rayburns, and Waterford-Stanleys. The result is common carbon build-up around the burner, which leads to inconsistent heat output and poor controllability.
Exocet Cooker Additive works by lowering the Char Value of the fuel, improving combustion efficiency, and keeping the burner cleaner for a longer period.
